  1. Additional information for owners of "Compaq" computers
  2. using the TABWORKS shell. . .  Running the installation directly 
  3. from TABWORKS may not create the tab (page) and icon(s) after
  4. the files are transferred.  If you installed from TABWORKS and
  5. did not have icon(s) appear on a new page, follow the steps
  6. outlined below:

  8.         "TABWORKS" is a replacement shell for the Windows
  9. Program Manager.  In order for the Groups and program Icons
  10. to be created, Program Manager must be running.  You can start
  11. Program Manager by clicking on the TABWORKS icon for Program
  12. Manager or using FILE  |  RUN  and enter PROGMAN at the command
  13. line.

  15.         Re-start the installation in Program Manager -- use  
  16. FILE  |  RUN   and at the command line enter the drive letter of 
  17. your source drive followed by :\SETUP      press the [Enter] key.  
  18. Assuming that the source drive letter is A, this is what you would 
  19. enter at the command line:

  21.                 A:\CV
  22.  
  23. and press the [Enter] key.  It's that easy.

  25.         Group(s) and Icon(s) will then be created in Program Manager.
  26. Please see the documentation you received with your computer about 
  27. TABWORKS (or the on-line Help) for instructions for creating pages 
  28. in TABWORKS which correspond to the Groups in Windows Program Manager.
